This Privacy Policy explains how squard.dev (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use TrainTrack BD — the website, PWA, and Android app at traintrackbd.squard.dev.
1. Information we collect
- Account: name, email, and password (stored hashed) when you sign up, or name and email if you use Google sign-in
- App usage: train searches, live-location unlocks, and credit balance / transaction history needed to run the service
- Technical data: IP address, browser or device type, language, and basic usage logs
- Cookies: session / auth cookies and similar technologies for login and preferences
TrainTrack BD shows train location from Bangladesh Railway data. We do not collect your device GPS or precise personal location.
2. How we use information
- To provide train search, live tracking unlocks, and your account
- To authenticate you (email/password or Google sign-in) and keep you signed in
- To manage credits, support requests, and security
- To understand performance, fix bugs, and improve the app
- To show relevant advertising on the website where ads are enabled
- To comply with legal obligations
3. Advertising, analytics, and cookies
The website may use Google Analytics and advertising (including Google AdSense). Third-party partners may use cookies or similar technologies to measure traffic or show ads. You can opt out of personalized ads via Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info/choices.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data sharing
We share limited data only with trusted providers needed to run the service (hosting, email delivery, analytics, authentication such as Google sign-in, or advertising), to comply with law, or to protect rights and security. Live train positions come from public railway information, not from other users’ devices.
5. Security and retention
We use HTTPS and reasonable safeguards. No internet service is fully risk-free. We keep account data while your account is active, and retain logs or records as needed for security, billing of credits, and legal purposes.
6. Your rights and account deletion
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information. To delete your TrainTrack BD account and associated data, follow the instructions on our Delete account page (no in-app login required).
7. Children’s privacy
TrainTrack BD is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
